Green corner, Green bal - it is paradise for 15

 

Problem: School doesn`t have a "green card" which may be for example beautiful Euro-garden in front of main entrance of school.

-          They don`t have plant pots

-          Absence of rubbish bins on terrain of sports field and in front of school

-          Absence of places to relax for children, benches

-          They need "green classroom"

 

Objective: Main objective is create Euro-garden by PSP 15, improve image and aesthetics of school, impulse students and parents to cooperation during the project is making. Integration a local community.

 

Project implementation and result:

Project start from information in school, on inquiry boards and school newspaper, that run next program schools for sustainable development. Convoke founding meeting with people who are responsible for realizing project, parents council together with all who want to and interested in help during project course

Next establish a date to start concrete tasks and actions which are carry out. Wholeness project realizing start  from competition for "The most beautiful flowery classroom in our school". Besides that children flowered their classrooms and their parents help them, cause they may offer different kinds of flowers. Those different ecological - natural competitions during the project are 3. One of them is devoted for design school in green and ecological style by students. All of projects which are select by competition is showing in Wałbrzyski Ośrodek Klutury on Piaskowa Góra. It is a gallery, which may watch by all visitors. In cooperation with Advert Studio LOGO make a poster which advertising the most interesting projects and spread out it in all district, in shops and boards. Besides competitions they found "Little circle lover of nature". It is lessons serve regular once a week, on which children acquaint with a lot of interesting natural actions. They may occasion to found their own herbarium and conduct experiments in terrain. All materials which are elaborate, set on school website, that another interested schools or people may use them

In 2 or 3 school rooms, friendly company offer exchange lighting from fluorescent lamp for modern, healthy and energy-saving, improve mood and reduce expenses for electric energy. Carry out survey which check changing mood and behaviour among children for change lighting in school rooms.

After change lighting in school rooms they plan common room repair, create in one of the rooms ecological - natural niche, systematically set there newspapers, invite guests for different meeting and shows.

They decide to change school image. In front of the entrance they hang out plant pots, stand rubbish bins, the biggest catch an eye have Euro-Garden, which is a school card. Euro-Garden besides aesthetics value fulfill educational and ecological function, cause stones which set near flowers have paint flag different countries and near them they try to set suitable flower or plant which grows in given countries or terrain. Near the garden is standing table of information about all project and sponsors.

They work on terrain around school. They make "green hall" for educational lessons which are carrying out outside. During the project is realizing they organize Dog Exhibition. Thanks to this outside event they may invite not only children and parents, but all inhabitants who is interested too. On this exhibition, besides dog show, it is possible to listen to specialist advises from vet about correct taking care and feeding pets. On this event it is settle the competition for the most beautiful dog and all celebration is leading by club which exist by school called "Animalsi". This group carry out collection needs for desolate and neglected dogs. Main target of this group is buying feeders and assembly them on windowsills in particular classrooms, taking care of them and feeding during the winter.

Ends the project realizing they organize "Green Ball". In this ball participate every children form school, parents, donors, sponsors, teachers. Sum up on this ball all achievements, distribute leaflets about what is changing in environment, present distinctions. All who is invite have to dress up for green. On this party propagate ecological slogans, healthy life style, healthy food, cause they are stalls with food.

Sum up the project they organize excursion for children participate and most engaged in help and ecological help.
