Energysaving

Problem: Too many energy consumption.

Objective: Raise students and workers consciousness about necessity limit energy consumption. Show practical methods saving energy which may use everyone.

Project implementation and result:
Project realizing starts from an action which promotes the project. News about project`s targets set in local newspaper "Walim`s News". Inform on website and walbrzych.info portal about current progress in realizing. Set an article too about this enterprise in one of Wałbrzych`s newspaper. Besides, students, of one`s own hands make posters which promote the project. Help with promoting this undertaking offer Communal Library and Culture and Touristic Center.
Practical actions start from carry out ecological audit about energy consumption at school. Pay attention, by this audit, on the biggest "robbers" current in school what allows to gradually eliminate those things. Informational action concern not only a school. Carry out a survey among citizens of Walim about saving energy. This survey carry out twice: at the beginning and at the end of realizing project. Students create informational boards on which are informations about how anyone can limit electric energy consumption in their house. Pass materials on create those boards offer village-mayor of Walim communal. Boards are set in strategic places of Walim, that for the biggest number of people may acquaint with informations which are on those boards.
For widen an actions outside Walim terrain they organize ecological meeting and invite to cooperate neighbouring schools. During this meeting exchange experience, carry out competitions, staging.
During the project is realizing, carry out round of internal competitions in school. They aren`t only competitions checking knowledge from energy saving range, but artistic competition, competition for the best poster, the best slogan, poem too.
Important, maybe the most important, task is introduction youth to limit loss energy through every days to take note of avoid not necessary exploitation energy.
In order to actions do not limit only to information - educational actions, they do more radical change in environment too - limit energy consumption. In this aim exchange ordinary windows for energy saving and other windows and doors seal up in order to energy range are the smallest. Next period is exchange light bulbs for energy-saving.
