The Palisadowa Street is situated in Podzamcze, the city's largest district, among tower blocks made of concrete. There is a scarcity of greenery between the buildings. There are several trees along the street, but there are vast unforested areas in between. The project involved managing part of the empty field. The purpose of the project was to alter the image of Palisadowa Street. A garden for plants and a a leisure spot as well as many places for ecological and environmental education were created.
